CAR932 — Insurance & Financial Planning
First, we will discuss the financial planning process: regulatory and ethical environment; time value of money; communication techniques; role of risk tolerance. Secondly, we will cover basic concepts in risk management; legal principles; personal property and liability risks; life, group, and health insurance; government regulation; insurance industry operations. (This course is also approved by the State Board of Accountancy for Continuing Education for CPAs.)
