CAR963 — Sen. Wrksp: Getting Ready Clge
This 2-week workshop is designed to guide rising high school juniors and seniors through the college application process, selecting a college major, and applying for financial aid. Students will learn the difference between post-secondary institutions and will begin applying to colleges after researching cost, location, programs of study, and other factors. Students will develop career and education planning skills basded on self-analysis and a career assessment (FOCUS). Students will learn and start the financial aid process by processing their PIN numbers for FAFSA. Students will gain insight on current competency levels for college placement via COMPASS testing.
