Effective warehousing continues to play a bottom-line role for companies worldwide. Get the training you need to enter this industry today. This program was developed to increase your understanding of the warehouse and materials handling (logistics) industry. Students will learn about storage and handling systems, forecasting, information systems, process flow, traffic and transportation, order accuracy, work ethics, basic data entry and look-up, purchasing and supply scheduling, safety, and forklift experience. Upon successful completion of this program, you may be eligible to receive three college credits in one of the following programs: Business Management, Business Administration, Logistics Technology, or Industrial Management (Business option). Note: In order to be awarded credits, you must apply to LCCC and complete one college-level three-credit course with at least a "C." GED or high school diploma required.
