COM854 — Computer Support Technician
This 390-hour hybrid course consisting of on-line, classroom, and lab instruction will give students the skills necessary for an entry level position in the IT industry. Students develop competencies in order to take the industry recognized COMPTIA A+ certifications. Students gain strong trouble shooting, customer service, and research skills. Students will be expected to complete a 90-hour internship. Prerequisite: pre-tests in basic PC, reading, math, and locating information. Testing will be administered prior to enrollment.
