A+ Certification is a non-vendor, non-product specific program, developed by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), that certifies the competency of entry-level technicians in the computer industry. This course is designed for the student who has basic knowledge and experience with PCs and who wants to learn the skills to set up and support the hardware and operating systems on a PC. The program is supported by computer hardware vendors such as General Electric, Digital Equipment, Microsoft, Toshiba, Packard Bell, and IBM.
