Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay are the home to many great bargain wines. Learn why this part of the world produces world-class wines at bargain prices. Do not pay more when you can get a good Chardonnay, Reisling or Sauvignon Blanc or a tasty Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon or Malbec from South America. Be adventurous and try new varieties including Torrontes, Carmenere and Tannat. We will taste 10 examples of of delicious, reasonably priced wine. All bottles will be in the $5-$12 price range. Materials fee: $12-$20 (depending on enrollment)-payable to the instructor on the night of class.
