Presenter: Tunnel ConsultingThis seminar is for individuals who have some basic level of familiarity with emergency preparedness planning and exercises, but may not have knowledge of avian flu or bioterrorism elements. The goals of this semester include presentation and discussion related to the following: -Avian Flu pandemic preparedness background and main issues for local / county consideration and collaborative preparation, building an all-hazards approach; -Additonal preparedness issues, considerations, and collaborative suggestions for bioterrorist initiated pathogens; -High level concepts in Continuity of Operations Planning Structure, components, and approaches for the local / county health, emergency management / responce, public safety departments, and local governments; -Very high level perspectives on (privately held) critical infrastructure and key resources, including concepts in supply chain awareness and vulnerabilities; -Main points of support and resources from federal agencies; -And, giving each pre-registered participant a learning guide of the seminar's major points.
