EMS731 — Bus Safety Intro and Tabletop
Presenter: EMS Educators, Eastern PA EMS CouncilBoth Emergency Medical Services providers and School District officialsstrive to develop, implement and test emergency response plans on aregular basis. This program will bring the emergency services communitytogether with regional school districts to jointly work together througha realistic school transportation crisis, incorporating unified commandand developing an interactive scenario which will challenge participantsto work through the crisis situation from the onset of the incidentuntil the final reunification of the school students. This program willincorporate a pre-defined group of school district officials andEmergency Service providers as they work through both a Table TopExercise and evolve into a Full Scale Exercise which will test allaspects of the Regions Emergency Response System. This program is alsoopen to observers who are welcome to monitor the exercises as theyunfold, taking note to the number of challenges and incorporatinglessons learned into their respective plans.
