Apply a variety of strategies to develop and extend comprehension of communicative and academic vocabulary and expressions (application) 3. Apply a variety of critical reading strategies to various academic texts (application) 4. Apply the information in academic texts and works of fiction to classroom tasks and written response (comprehension and application) 5. Respond to reading topics with connections between texts and personal perspectives/other texts (synthesis and analysis).
