FIA510 — Introduction to Pastels
Pastel is an exciting and versatile medium used in both drawing and painting. This course will offer instruction on the use and variety of grounds (surfaces) and the different types of pastel that are available. Basic techniques, color mixing, and how to care for your finished piece will all be included. The instructor will furnish you with landscape photographs from which to work, or you may bring your own. Materials fee: $15 payable to instructor.
