FIR415 — Flashover Survival
The student will be taught a thorough understanding of fire behavior, and he will be able to list the warning signs of flashover. Ths student will be able to watch the fire from incipient stage through flashover in a control fire setting. Nozzle control and personal protective equipment will be reviewed. Student must bring NFPA approved turnout gear including helmet, nomex hood and SCBA with spare cylinder. Minimum age 18 years
