FIR418 — Flashover Survival Refresher
The student will be reviewed on the understanding of fire behavior, and be able to list the warning signs of flashover The student will be able to watch the fire from incipient stage through flashover in a control fire setting. Nozzle control and personal protective equipment will be reviewed. Student must bring NFPA approved turnout gear including helmut, nomex hood and SCBA with spare cylinder.
