FIR517 — Hazmat Technicians Refresher
Participants in this course already have an understanding of hazmat requirements and are reviewing the information. This course meets requirements for OSHA 1910, 120 Haswoper standard for HAZMAT technicians. This course covers the regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA and DOT as they relate to hazardous materials. Topics covered are: assessing hazmat needs in industrial facilitites: regulatory overview; emergency response plans; hazard recognition; hazard evaluation; and hazard mitigation and control.
