FIR607 — Intro to Farm Emergencies
This course includes discussion about and demonstrations of farm machinery, structures, chemicals and people in order to order to recognize and initially manage various hazards that may be encountered at the scene of an agricultural emergency. Emergency responders will then learn how to perform duties specifically related to tractor incidents which account for nearly 50% of farm deaths and disabling injuries. This operations/technical level training will teach providers how to manage tractor related emergencies following NFPA 1670 Standards on operation and training for Technical Rescue Incidents.
