AST 1115 — Safety, Tools and Maintenance
An introduction to the essential skills for safe and effective work in the transportation trade with a concentration on workplace safety regulations, lifting and rigging practices, hazardous materials management, and fire protection. Apprenticeship management, communication techniques, and hands-on training with tools and trailer maintenance are also included in addition to electronic service systems and safety procedures for hybrid and electric vehicles. Not available for supplemental. Not eligible for Prior Learning Assessment.
