PSY 1171 — Child Growth and Development

This course covers the growth and development of children from infancy to middle childhood, focusing on how research from developmental psychology applies to real-life situations. Students will gain an appreciation for the complexity of human development by discussing the biological and environmental components of development. We will explore this complexity in relation to key developmental topics, such as physical development, social/emotional development, and language/memory. Not available for supplemental.
