GET1000 — Intro to Engineering
This course will cover the varied aspects of engineering from scientist to technician. It will explore the disciplines and functions within those disciplines. Problem-solving and project work will be stressed. The course focuses on providing direction for the students in career choices within the engineering field with special focus on Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics and Automation and Smart Manufacturing. Students will also complete an online module to obtain an OSHA 10 certification and experiential learning opportunities will also be built into the course.
