NUR3020 — Cultural Competency & Global Healthcare
This course prepares baccalaureate nursing students for the care of a globally diverse society. This course addresses cultural influences on global health and illness, describes the position of providing culturally competent nursing care to diverse populations, and identifies current evidence-based practice guidelines for culturally competent care. This course will add to the nurseâs foundation for understanding global health issues and their effects on different cultures is addressed.
