PTA1000 — Introduction to Physical Therapy
The student will learn about the profession of physical therapy including its current and historical role within the healthcare system. Topics covered include the roles of the PT, PTA, and Aide; career exploration; standards of practice; evidence-based practice; communication; diversity; and the legal and ethical delivery of physical therapy services.
