ARTG 211 — Illustration I

; Attributes: FA, HU, LA This course provides an opportunity to explore a variety of methods and materials used in illustration. Students practice a range of techniques, which can be used to enhance the expressive potential of illustration. The course examines different genres in illustration including children’s books, editorial, and textbook illustration. Through lectures, students view the contemporary illustration styles and niches and discuss other relevant processes used by illustrators. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week.
