This course is designed to build upon the content of Nursing 101 and focuses on basic human needs when altered by common health problems. The content includes pathophysiology, pharmacology, nutrition, social sciences, nursing theory, patient teaching, and evidence-based practice. The student continues to apply the nursing process in the care of patients with medical and surgical problems. The student is guided to integrate previous learning.
