EMSP 112 — Paramedic Pharmacology
This course integrates comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology to formulate a treatment plan intended to mitigate emergencies and improve the overall health of the patient. Lectures and discussions focus on the study of drugs, especially those relating to emergency care as described by current Massachusetts Statewide Protocols. Actions, indications, contraindications, side effects, and dosages of drugs are studied. This course is for Paramedic students only. This course does not satisfy the requirements for the Respiratory Care Program. requisite: ENGL 101 English Composition I.
