EMSP 270 — Paramedic Fundamentals B
This module prepares the student to learn new skills and reinforce skills already attained. The course reviews pathophysiology of shock and its treatment, medication administration, and intravenous therapy. Reviews pharmacology and reinforces patient assessment skills for medical and trauma patients. Fundamentals A, B- or higher in EMSP 261 Paramedicine Lab Practical A, and B- or higher in EMSP 262 Paramedicine Clinical A; or permission of paramedic program director and/ or dean; or departmental approval. Paramedicine Lab Practical B and EMSP 262 Paramedicine Clinical B.
