ENGL 213 — American Literature to 1860
; Attributes: HU, LA This course examines the major contributors to the development of American literature, culture, and ideals from the colonial period to the era of American Romanticism. Since the course is based on time periods and major authors, American Literature I does not have to be taken before American Literature II.
