HIST 101 — History of Western Civilization I
; Attributes: LA, SS This course is a study of the foundations and development of the history, ideas, and institutions of the Western world from ancient to early modern times. The Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian heritages and the Renaissance and Reformation receive special attention. This course emphasizes reading, writing, and critical thinking. Please note: HIST 101 and 102 may be taken in either order.
