NURS 307 — Nursing Trends
This course is designed to provide a survey of the challenges, issues, and problems influencing contemporary health care delivery. Nursing history and the growth of leadership and management in nursing practice are reviewed. Legal and ethical responsibilities, cultural disparity of disease, emergency preparedness, and global health problems are discussed. Lectures and discussion enhance the integration and application of previous nursing knowledge. A minimum passing grade of C+ is required. Philosophy
