PHIL 111 — Medical Law and Ethics
; Attributes: HU, LA This course provides an analysis and understanding of laws as they relate to the medical profession and the responsibilities and ethical considerations that must be considered and applied while executing these laws. Topics covered include codes of medical ethics, techniques and methods used in making ethical decisions, structure of the law as it relates to medical health, and the various laws as they pertain to specific situations. Case studies are utilized as much as possible.
