This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of electricity, magnetism, and basic electronics. Students will develop a working knowledge of the electrical circuits which make up the automobile including the battery, starting, charging, SRS, and audio/telematic systems. Emphasis will be placed on performing electrical tests, interpreting results, and the correct use of digital multimeters and related test equipment. Lecture: 2 credits. Lab: 3 credits. Total: 120 hours. 5 Credits Prerequisite: AI 100
