Introduce the student to electricity, magnetism, and basic electronic fundamentals. The course is designed to develop familiarity with basic concepts and theories to develop a working knowledge of circuits controlling a vehicle and the components necessary for its operation. Emphasis is placed on locating and interpreting specifications, electrical testing, and using meters and test equipment. This course will introduce starting, charging systems, and automotive electronics. Lecture: 1 credit. Lab: 3 credits. Total: 105 hours. 4 Credits Prerequisite: AY 100
