BI120 — PRINCIPLES OF BIOLOGY II w/ LAB
Principles of Biology II is the second semester of a two-semester college course on the facts and principles of biology. The course has a mandatory lab that complements the lecture. This course is designed to meet the needs of STEM major programs. Typical majors taking this course include biotechnology, life science, environmental science, computer science, and engineering. Topics include the evolutionary process; a survey of the evolutionary diversity of prokaryotes, protists, plants, fungi, and animals, with an emphasis on the human body; metabolic pathways; homeostasis and molecular regulation of organ systems; and topics in ecology, including conservation ecology. 4 Credits Prerequisite: BI 110
