BT225 — BIOMANUFACTURING I

This course is designed to provide students with solid training in basics of Biomanufacturing such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), stem cells, bioreactor basics, upstream processing, creating novel cell lines, manufacturing of biologics, biomolecules using bacteria, mammalian, and plant cells. This course also includes an overview of documentation and good laboratory practices and biomanufacturing careers. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Lab: 3 hours per week. 4 Credits Corequisite: BT 201
