HL117 — SOFT SKILLS FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
This course will prepare learners with basic interpersonal and communication skills needed by medical professionals in the healthcare setting as well as other professionals whose job it is to interact with the public regularly. These skills include effective communication, empathy, dealing with pressure and stress, a strong work ethic, positive mental attitude, adaptability and flexibility, time management, self-confidence, and dealing with criticism constructively. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Total: 45 hours. 3 Credits
