Architecture and Civil CAD applications are a hands-on approach to understand and develop the basic drawings required for residential construction including 2D plot plan, floor plan, electrical plan and kitchen plan. Understand basic plot plans, contour maps and wetland boundaries. Read and understand architectural and civil drawings. Explore manual sketching techniques to construct rough concept plans and models. Architectural scale and Engineering scale required. Utilizes AutoCAD. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Lab: 2 hours per week. 4 Credits
