RT213 — RADIOBIOLOGY AND RADIATION PROTECTION

This course presents biological effects (at the atomic, molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and organism level) of exposure to ionizing radiation. The relative risks-vs-benefits associated with medical radiation exposure theories, principles underlying radiation safety/protection practices/ procedures and accessory usage will be studied. Lecture: 2 hours per week. 2 Credits Prerequisites: RT 131 and BI 217
