ART 105 - Art History Before 1500 ART 105 - Art History Before 1500 3 Course Description: Art History Before 1500 is a survey course that examines the development of art and visual culture from prehistoric times through the Middle Ages. Through a chronological and thematic approach, students will learn about the major styles, movements, and artists of this period and the political, social, and cultural contexts in which they emerged.
