BIO 261 - Ecology BIO 261 - Ecology 4 Course Description: Ecology is the study of the interactions of organisms with each other and their environment. Students will explore fundamental concepts, theoretical principles, and practical applications of modern ecology. Students will develop an understanding of how scientific methods are used to construct ecological knowledge. The course will explore current ecological challenges and the research being done to address these concerns. Laboratory explorations will involve fieldwork and research projects geared towards ecological application.
