BIT 103 - Computer Programs for Biotechnology Industry BIT 103 - Computer Programs for Biotechnology Industry 3 Course Description: This course will provide students with an introductory overview of Microsoft Office applications, as well as programs commonly used in the biotech industry. The course will begin with an exploration of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to ensure a good base from which students can build their computer skills. Using this foundation, students will then be given a comprehensive background into how and why specific biotech software programs are used, including hands-on exploration of relevant examples.
