The course will begin with an exploration of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to ensure a good base from which students can build their computer skills. Using this foundation, students will then be given a comprehensive background into how and why specific biotech software programs are used, including hands-on exploration of relevant examples.
