CAD 229 - Engineering Technology -CAD Internship CAD 229 - Engineering Technology -CAD Internship 3 Course Description: The internship provides students with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have developed in the classroom to a real-world experience. Students will work in a program-related internship position approved for their program for a minimum of 200 hours. The student will be evaluated by their internship supervisor and will require at least a satisfactory evaluation in order to receive credit for the internship. In addition to the working hour requirement, the student will participate in a series of workshops throughout the semester. At the end of the semester, the student will submit a written report on an approved topic that is associated with the internship. Department approval of the internship position prior to enrollment. Note(s): Students must be in good academic standing in order to participate in the internship. The internship must be a new experience for the student and the student may not obtain internship credit for working in a position that they have worked in before they enroll in the internship program.
