CHE 151 - General Chemistry for Engineering and Science I CHE 151 - General Chemistry for Engineering and Science I 4 Course Description: A comprehensive general chemistry course intended for students planning to continue as STEM majors. Topics include atomic theory, stoichiometry, gases, thermochemistry, quantum theory, chemical bonding, liquids and solids. Appropriate for science majors and engineering transfer students. 3-hours lecture/3-hours laboratory. ISLOs: This course supports student development of Written and Oral Communications, Critical Thinking, and Quantitative Literacy.
