COM 221 - Communication Internship COM 221 - Communication Internship 1 Course Description: The internship provides students with the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have developed in the classroom to a real-world experience with the support of both a faculty adviser and a professional in communication field. Interns will spend 2 hours per week at their internship position and attend a weekly one-hour seminar at the college. Students will be assessed using an evaluation from their internship site coordinator, as well as an e-portfolio which will include weekly memos, self-reflections, written assignments, and projects undertaken for the internship.
