CSC 290 - Information Assurance CSC 290 - Information Assurance 3 Course Description: This course covers the fundamentals of secure use, processing, storage, and transmission of information. A student who successfully completes this course will be able to describe, deploy, and configure basic cryptography, risk management, security controls, compliance, and incident response. The student will also be able to identify and apply the three concepts of information security: confidentiality, integrity, and availability through hands-on exercises and projects.
