The primary focus of the course includes the biological nature and function of nutrients and their effect on general, dental, and oral health at the various stages of life. Consideration is given to psychological and sociological influences on the human diet as well as concepts of food safety. Note(s): Open to Dental Hygiene degree students only Course Student Learning
