ECO 140 - Principles Of Macroeconomics ECO 140 - Principles Of Macroeconomics 3 Course Description: Macroeconomics explores the nature and structure of the economy as a whole. The course examines general economic conditions and factors that determine levels of employment, prices and economic growth in a society, along with the roles of the government and central bank. The economic and political aspects of public policy issues such as government spending, taxation, and international trade and globalization will be discussed. This course is designed for students in all disciplines. ISLOs: This course supports student development of Critical Thinking, Quantitative Literacy, and Multicultural and Global Perspectives.
