EDU 150 - Discover Teaching EDU 150 - Discover Teaching 3 Course Description: This course will explore major aspects of teaching and learning. Intended to students decide if they wish to pursue a career in K-12 education, the course integrates readings, class discussions, and other media to explore the world of education. Course topics provide an overview of the historical and theoretical foundations of education with an examination of issues related to educators and students involved in K-12 education. Included will be discussions around diversity, equity, socioeconomics, gender, race, ethnicity, special education distinctions, the changing standards for future educators, ethics, and technology.
