EGR 101 - Introduction to Engineering EGR 101 - Introduction to Engineering 4 Course Description: Principles and methods of engineering for students planning to transfer to a baccalaureate engineering program will be examined in depth. The course will introduce the student to engineering design methods and tools, and their application in solving engineering problems from various engineering disciplines. Tools will include software packages such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and MATLAB. The different disciplines within engineering will be discussed. Skills required for career success such as teamwork, written and oral communication, and problem solving will be emphasized. 3 hours lecture/3 hours laboratory Note(s): N/A Course Student Learning
