Selections vary and may include Whitman, Dickinson, Hughes, Hemingway, O’Brien, Morrison, Viet Thanh Nguyen, and others. ISLOs: This course supports student development of Written and Oral Communications, Critical Thinking, Multicultural and Global Perspectives, and Social Responsibility. General Education Elective(s): Humanities; Literature Note(s): ENG 160 American Literature I not required.
