HUS 104 - Principles of Developmental Disabilities HUS 104 - Principles of Developmental Disabilities 3 Course Description: This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and practices of providing community support services to people with intellectual disabilities. The course has classroom and practicum components. Weekly lectures are provided by the instructor and by visiting faculty who are practitioners in the field. A concurrent practicum in a human service agency is required. Weekly reading assignments, weekly journals and a short paper are part of the course requirements. Course Student Learning
