HUS 151 - Counseling Theory/Process HUS 151 - Counseling Theory/Process 3 Course Description: This course will focus on techniques of intervention used in individual, group and family work. Therapies included are: behavior modification, psychodynamic, existential-humanistic, client centered, gestalt, transactional analysis, rational emotive, reality, and family systems. Also discussed will be such questions as when to use a particular intervention, when to include another member of the family in the work, and when to recommend a particular kind of therapy.
