LAN 107 - Korean 1 and Culture LAN 107 - Korean 1 and Culture 3 Course Description: Provide a short summary paragraph describing the nature and purpose of the course. Korean 1 and Culture is an introductory course for beginners. Students will learn Korean language by developing all four communication skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They will learn the Korean writing system, Hangul, and how to read and write basic sentence patterns and expressions in Korean. They will respond to expressions and gain an understanding and respect for a different culture.
