LAN 206 - Modern Hebrew 4 and Culture LAN 206 - Modern Hebrew 4 and Culture 3 Course Description: Modern Hebrew 4 and Culture is a fourth semester world language course. Students will continue to learn modern Hebrew language by developing all four communication skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They will also learn to expand their reading skills to be able to derive probable meaning of simple unknown words from short familiar contexts and scan a simple text, using headings and graphics. They will learn to write a description of a future event or activity and a story with simple linear sequence in Hebrew. They will gain a deeper understanding and respect for a different culture. General Education Elective(s): Humanities Course Student Learning
